You never know what the day will bring, and I like to be quite spontaneous. Therefor I like to be prepared for every scenario. In my beauty kit that I keep in my purse at all time, I have some essentials that have saved me many times.
First of all it’s important to me that the make-up bag is clear, so that I can find what I’m looking for straight away. This one was a part of a travel kit from Søstrene Grene, but the size of it is perfect, because then I can’t overload my purse with make-up.
I always have a hand sanitizer and a hand cream when I go out. These are both from The Body Shop. The hand cream smells of pink grapefruit and the sanitizer of coconut.
Concealer is also a must for me! This one is the L’Oreal True Match, and I’m in the shade 02 Vanilla.
I hate having chapped lips, therefor a good lip balm is an essential, especially now we are getting into the colder months. I think the best one is the Reve de Miel lip balm from Nuxe. It is a lifesaver!
I always have two options when it comes to lipsticks, a lighter shade that’s more wearable during the daytime, and a darker shade that’s better suited for nighttime. The lighter version that I currently carrie in my purse is the MAC Creme Cup, and the darker one is a Kate lipstick from Rimmel London in the shade 31. The lipsticks in my purse vary on a daily basis, it depends on which mood I’m in.
I also have a perfume, and I keep it in my pink Travalo, so that it doesn’t take up too much space. It is the Flora by Gucci in the scent Gorgeous Gardenia.
I don’t have a compact mirror, that’s why I have the Honey Bronzer from The Body Shop with me instead.
Lasly I have some hair ties, a bobby pin and some cotton buds for emergency.
